Nasheen Liu, VP of Marketing & Vendor Relations for The IT Media Group, recently won a major category award in the 2012-2013 Global Case Study Competition, conducted by The Hot Mommas® Project (HMP), an award-winning social venture that pairs the world’s largest digital case study library of female role models with cutting-edge teaching tools.
“I am thrilled to be given this award. It’s an honour to be in the company of such amazing and inspiring women,” said Liu. “It’s especially gratifying to be part of a venture that is making an important positive impact on women and girls around the world.”
The Hot Mommas® Project makes the stories of everyday women teachable and accessible. The project’s curriculum measurably increases the confidence of women in Gen Y, Gen X, and beyond up to 200 percent.
Case study submissions to the 2012-2013 awards were judged by a panel of globally recognized leaders in business, government, media, academia and non-profit sectors.
The Hot Mommas® Project provides free online access to stories of diverse female role models and mentors. HMP was conceptualized in 2002 as a tool to fill a gap in the education system: scalable access to role models, particularly female ones. It was founded in 2005 by Kathy Korman Frey, an experienced executive and Harvard Business School case author who is the instructor of the nationally award-winning Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership class at the George Washington University School of Business. HMP is the recipient of a national Coleman Foundation Case Award.
