On March 4, 2014, a group of senior IT executives gathered at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Calgary to participate in an interactive roundtable to share strategies for “Roundtable: Future-proofing the IT organization”. This is one of the latest CIO Master Series roundtables produced by The IT Media Group (ITMG), one of Canada’s leading producers of events for IT executives.
Sponsored by IBM Global Services Canada, this private event attracted top IT executives from a variety of organizations. Key industry segments were represented at the table, including energy, manufacturing, retail and technology.
“We had highly insightful and engaging conversation. Participants drilled into some very compelling issues, such as fostering innovation in their organizations and creating the right conditions for IT to help drive business value,” said John Pickett, the event moderator and ITMG’s Principal and VP, Executive Programs.
“CIOs at these events appreciate the opportunity to discuss and debate issues amongst themselves, with a minimum of facilitation,” he added. “That’s the best way to get at the nub of these issues and bring out the best ideas and insights.”
Over 40 Canadian senior IT executives have taken part in the last three CIO Master Series roundtables alone, sharing best practices, taking away excellent insights and significantly expanding their personal networks. IT executives interested in joining these information-rich CIO events can visit ITMG’s events page and add their name to the VIP list.
