Two IT executive roundtables take deep dive into security

Senior IT executives and CISOs in the Toronto area will have the opportunity to drill deeply into various important aspects of security during two private Master Series roundtables scheduled by The IT Media Group (ITMG), a Canadian leader in producing events for senior IT management.

The breakfast events, slated for Dec. 6, 2013 and May 8, 2014, are both sponsored by Symantec.

At the December 6 roundtable “Securing Information in an Unsecure World”, IT executives from key private and public sector organizations will share ideas, personal insights and best practices around:

  • Security & privacy in the cloud
  • Selling security to senior management
  • Security strategies for social media & BYOD 
  • Balancing control with productivity
  • Testing your defences. Guarding against specific threats. 
  • The future threatscape and how to prepare for it

The May 8 roundtable will focus on primarily on security in the mobile space.
